Along with a team of volunteers each year, I have helped organize the Alaska Entrepreneurship Week, aka Alaska Startup Week, for 12 years since it was started by Jon Bittner when he was at AEDC.

This year is the biggest, surpassing our pre pandemic growth. This year communities around the state organizing over 100 events!

Some are local social or community building meetups, some are virtual learning events, and others, like the policy session I’m helping organize on Friday, are building the capacity to accelerate growth in emerging sectors. They all showcase the diversity and strength of our emerging economic engine.
